So I went to the Recycle Bookstore on Tuesday when I looked in the comics section before walking over to the counter to pay for my books, I came across the Michael Dooney Sketchbook published by Tundra. I'm familiar with the artist due to his work on Ninja Turtles and Gizmo, so I thought I'd pick it since I hadn't seen it before nor did I know Tundra published artists' sketchbooks. The book has a lot of neat drawings and beautiful paintings. I think it will also help me out in both 2D and 3D work even though it doesn't go as in depth as other anatomy-type books do. Still, I'm glad I picked it up and it gives me an idea of what to expect when I actually get paid to design characters or what have you.
